Smoke, heat and flame detection
Not every room needs the same detector. Kitchen steam, warehouse dust or a high ceiling will cause false alarms if the device is wrong. We place points after reading ceiling height, airflow and how the space is used.
- Smoke detectors for offices, corridors and common areas
- Heat detectors for steamy or dusty rooms
- Flame or gas detection where the risk needs it
- Separate zoning for stores and basements empty at night
Addressable and conventional fire alarm panels
A conventional panel can suit a smaller building. As floors and room types grow, an addressable panel shows exactly which detector is in alarm. We choose the panel from the plan, not from a sales list.
- Conventional fire alarm panels
- Addressable fire alarm panels
- Zone or address plan and labelling
- Commissioning and a short briefing at the panel
Call points, sounders and warning devices
A panel alone is not enough. Manual call points on the escape route, audible sounders and beacons where needed speed evacuation. We check existing power and low-voltage routes during the survey.
- Manual call points
- Sounder and beacon placement
- Call points on the same path as the exit
- Cabling that fits the existing infrastructure
Working with sprinklers and fire doors
In many buildings the detection panel also works with sprinklers, fire-door magnets or a public-address system. Our focus is detection and alarm; during the survey we note any need to integrate with water-based systems or fire doors.
- Sprinkler monitoring and alarm links where a system already exists
- Fire-door magnet release in the same scenario
- Clear status information on one panel
